Night Runs- Stepping Closer

Stars bright in the dark sky

Not another person around

Freedom is in every step

echoing deeply, so deeply within.

Rhythm and energy move in unison

Feeling my blood pump

and my heart slightly raised

Oh, it is good to feel so alive!

And the owls sit quizzically

as they watch me pass by-

The bats fly from the fruit trees

surprised to feel me near.

The leaves on the trees

move slightly as I pass....

There is just so much life around

Feeling this energy,  I soar

Higher, and higher- what a buzz!

So sweet, so beautiful,

This is such a simple blessing...

The stars remind me how small we are

and just how large the universe is

I remember what I am grateful for

As I step slowly toward my life's purpose

We belong with the wilderness

We belong with the grass

We belong with the deep dark caves
to the waterfalls' rush
Feel like the animals
Move and be at one

Soar above with the eagles,

delve down to the sea...
Be wild and free

Surrender to beauty 

Embrace the weaving of life-

a sweetness so intricate and delicate and bright 

Be thankful to feel-In love and in pain.

Feeling is living.

So live. Be free. Be wild

Interconnections

We are all connected

as connected as

the sun is to the earth

as the moon is to the ocean

and as air is to fire....

we thrive on this interconnection-

this beautiful dance of yin and yang

set deeply in your sweet surrender....

Connection

Connection.

Unseen to the naked eye,

untouched by the most supple of skin

not thought of, not willed, but simply felt.

This sensuality becomes a trigger

and that trigger becomes a new 'reality'

So beautiful, so sweet. A fresh reality...

where light becomes brighter,

Love becomes deeper,

Pain becomes a melodious song

echoing to the core

existing only as an invitation to explore

to a depth never experienced before....

deeper and deeper- beyond all comfort

Travel to a place within

a place of virgin land, 

where you've never dared

to enter before. Loiter to feel your fears.....

feel them grip you and strangle your courage

breathless and feeling every terrifying emotion:

Grief, pain, jealousy, doubt.... 

leads to the openness of unconditional love-

Openness....weightlessness....

sweet surrendered release.... 

Connections made through spiritual chords

Are bonding, loving, purifying, healing.

On The Path love touches 

and vibrates with intensity unsurpassed

I thank the beautiful souls

who keep enriching my experience

helping the courage to flow

helping in the process to re-member

In this life....

In this body.
