Inside of a cave- deep, dark and damp-
the only light comes from a place-
a place so distant, so different, so serene....
But...it's safe here in this cave,
in the confines of the rocks,
entombed by thoughts, fear, darkness...
It is the unchanged mind;
ever fearful, and stuck in the past,
anxious about the future........
Distractions in the cave lack substance,
lack passion, lack truth, love and beauty
and feeds into the fire of greed, lust and distrust.
Where the essence of a person is vacant-
like the cave itself- empty, dark, dull....
void of energy, void of light......
What if questions begin to arise....
what if that tiny light is seen....
what if we move toward it....
what would be felt?
Beauty, love, clarity, truth.....
Happiness, passion and freedom-
If I had one wish, one little desire
I would wish others feel the change
where that once dark, empty cave-
